Aave yield already accrues automatically when you supply assets. Using Aave through Zyfai lets you choose the available pools and risk profile you are comfortable with, then let your rule-based Yield Agent monitor and rebalance within those settings. As rates or risks change, it can move capital to a higher-yielding or safer approved pool. Your Yield Account remains under your control. Aave's native accrual and Zyfai's rebalancing rules explain the two layers.

How Aave yield accrues before a Yield Agent does anything

An Aave supplier transfers assets into protocol contracts and receives aTokens representing the supplied amount and accrued yield. The aToken balance increases as interest accrues.

Borrowers fund supplier income through interest, after the reserve factor. Rates change with utilization, the proportion of supplied liquidity that borrowers are using. Aave V3 uses a two-slope interest-rate model, with borrowing rates rising more sharply beyond an optimal utilization point. A higher displayed rate can therefore coincide with tighter withdrawal liquidity. Aave V3's overview explains the model.

For someone researching Aave yield, that relationship matters more than a single APY number. You want to understand the reserve's lending demand and how much liquidity remains available when you need your money back.

Your rule-based Yield Agent monitors and rebalances within your chosen pools

Your personal Yield Agent monitors onchain and offchain signals: APY stability and incentives, TVL changes, reserve utilization and withdrawal liquidity, collateral health and depegs, protocol changes, and sentiment and security warnings on socials. Glider Monitor by Hexens adds real-time checks across integrated pools and monitored dependencies, including checks on Aave reserve accounting. Before an ordinary yield-driven rebalance, the rule-based Agent assesses whether the expected improvement justifies execution costs. A brief APY spike may fail the stability check. A marginal improvement may fail the cost check. In either case, leaving the existing allocation alone can be the appropriate action. Read the rebalancing rules.

This is where DeFi yield automation becomes useful for a supplier who cannot watch markets throughout the day. You select the pools you allow, and your personal Zyfai Yield Agent monitors them around the clock and rebalances when a higher-yielding or safer approved option meets your risk settings.

Risk monitoring also has an execution response. If a collateral depeg or liquidity problem triggers the risk process, the Yield Agent rebalances to a safer opportunity within your allowed pools. Our risk team can flag a pool as unavailable for new allocation. Capital may remain unallocated when no suitable alternative exists. Zyfai's emergency-response documentation describes these actions.

You choose which available protocols and pools the Yield Agent can use. If you include alternatives to Aave, it can rebalance into them when they offer better risk-adjusted yield within your settings. If you select only Aave pools, it stays within that selection or leaves funds idle. Each user can choose their own protocol and pool preferences.

Depositing USDC into Aave: directly or through Zyfai

You can use Aave through Zyfai on Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum. Choose the network and available Aave pools you want your Yield Agent to use. It can allocate to your selected pools when they meet your strategy and the current risk checks.

To earn yield on stablecoins and other crypto assets directly through Aave, you compare markets, collateral and oracle risks, supply rates, incentives and withdrawal liquidity. After depositing, you keep reviewing those conditions and execute allocation changes yourself. Through Zyfai, you choose your settings once and delegate ongoing risk monitoring and capital rebalancing:

  1. Choose your risk profile and the available Aave pools you trust, then decide whether to include other approved yield venues.

  2. Deposit USDC/ETH/BTC or tokenized stocks into your personal Yield Account and authorize approved rule-based Agent actions through scoped Session Keys.

  3. The Zyfai Yield Agent supplies to an Aave market you allow when it passes the allocation checks. Aave interest then accrues natively.

  4. The Yield Agent monitors yields, incentives and risk signals around the clock. It can rebalance to a higher-yielding or safer approved pool within your settings when the new allocation passes your strategy's risk and execution checks.

  5. Request a withdrawal when you want to exit.

Your Yield Account stays under your control

Your wallet owns your personal Safe Smart Account. Your capital stays in that account and the DeFi positions it holds, including the Aave supply position. You retain ownership and withdrawal control, while the Yield Agent can rebalance only through scoped permissions. Our Safe Smart Account architecture explains the account model.

Scoped Session Keys authorize approved Agent actions without a fresh signature for every rebalance. The Security Proxy Gateway checks approved contract addresses, functions and transaction parameters before execution. You can also enable automatic inclusion of newly approved pools that fit your strategy, so your rule-based Yield Agent can consider them without you adding each one manually.

When direct Aave use makes more sense

Direct supply is a strong fit when you have already selected a market, intend to hold it and are comfortable monitoring its liquidity regularly. Native accrual makes a patient supply position relatively simple. You keep responsibility for allocation changes and manually execute deposits, withdrawals and rebalances.

When using Zyfai makes more sense

Zyfai is a better fit if you want to earn from Aave while delegating daily risk monitoring and capital rebalancing across Aave markets. You choose the pools and risk profile, and your Yield Agent tracks rates, incentives and risk signals, then moves capital within those settings to improve yield or reduce risk. You keep control of your Yield Account without having to execute every rebalance yourself.

Fees and exit conditions to compare

Zyfai charges a 10% performance fee on earnings, collected weekly or when withdrawing. We list no separate deposit or withdrawal fee.

Agent transactions are gas-sponsored. The performance fee pays for ongoing risk monitoring and active rebalancing toward better risk-adjusted yield within your chosen pools.

Our internal measurements show that active rebalancing has delivered higher yields than static allocations even after our performance fee. The additional risk-monitoring layer helps reduce exposure to deteriorating conditions: the Yield Agent can move capital to a safer approved pool or keep it idle when no suitable alternative is available.

FAQ

Does Zyfai make the same Aave market pay more?

No. Aave determines its supply rate. Your Yield Agent monitors yield and risk conditions and can rebalance to another pool you allow when the expected improvement justifies the costs.

Does Aave interest already accrue automatically?

Yes. Aave's aToken accounting already accrues interest. Zyfai adds ongoing risk monitoring and active rebalancing across the pools you choose. Additional incentive rewards are separate: Aave does not automatically reinvest them into your supply position. Zyfai auto-compounds supported reward tokens for you, converting them into the deposited asset and adding them to your active position.

Can my capital move outside Aave?

Yes, if you allow other approved protocols and pools. You can restrict the available selection to Aave, in which case the Yield Agent stays within it or leaves funds idle.
