Morpho yield can already include professional allocation management inside a curator-run vault. Using Morpho through Zyfai lets you choose the Morpho vaults you trust and automate rebalancing between them when yields improve or risk conditions deteriorate. Our rule-based Yield Agent adds automated rebalancing, with configurable preferences and ongoing risk monitoring. Morpho's curators continue managing their own vaults.
Native Morpho vaults and access through Zyfai
Decision | Holding a Morpho vault directly | Through Zyfai |
Lending income | Underlying markets accrue interest into vault accounting | The same mechanism applies while your self-custodial Yield Account holds the vault position |
Allocation inside the vault | Curator and Allocator manage the permitted strategy | Those native roles remain responsible |
Choosing the vault | You select and retain or replace the vault manually | You choose the Morpho vaults you want to allocate to. The rule-based Yield Agent monitors them and rebalances within your selection to ensure you’re earning the highest risk-adjusted yield |
Changes to your allocation | You arrange moves between vaults manually | Your Yield Account automatically rebalances within your selection when a better yield opportunity appears or a vault becomes riskier |
Custody | Your wallet holds the vault shares | Your self-custodial Yield Account controls the vault shares, with the Yield Agent authorized to rebalance through scoped Session Keys |
The operational question is whether you want to delegate the work that remains after choosing a curated vault. Yields and risk conditions change around the clock. Direct Morpho use suits people who want to keep monitoring their vaults and moving funds themselves. If you would rather spend that time elsewhere, Zyfai handles those checks and rebalances within your chosen vaults to pursue better risk-adjusted yield.
Where Morpho yield comes from
A Morpho variable-rate market pairs a loan asset with a collateral asset. Its configuration also specifies the liquidation loan-to-value limit, oracle and interest-rate model. Lenders supply the loan asset, borrowers provide collateral and pay interest, and available liquidity constrains withdrawals. Morpho's market documentation explains these building blocks.
Morpho vaults package allocations for depositors. In the V1 model, the Curator selects eligible markets and supply caps. The Allocator manages deployment among those markets and the supply and withdrawal queues. Reallocation is an existing native capability, including the ability to withdraw from some markets and supply others in one transaction.
Morpho's V2 framework uses adapters and more granular exposure caps. V2 adapters can connect a vault to Morpho markets and other yield-bearing protocols, depending on which adapters its curator enables. You should inspect the specific vault's implementation and exposures rather than infer them from its name. The liquidity-curation guide distinguishes the models.
A curator manages the vault. Your Agent manages your allocation.
Suppose you trust a curator's risk approach but do not want to keep comparing its vault with every other USDC opportunity. The curator continues managing the vault's own mandate. Our Agent evaluates whether that vault still fits your permitted allocation, alongside the other opportunities you allow.
We monitor onchain and offchain signals around the vaults you allow: APY and incentive changes, TVL, available withdrawal liquidity, utilization, collateral health and depegs, curator allocations, protocol changes, and sentiment and security warnings on socials. Glider Monitor by Hexens adds real-time checks for attacks, newly disclosed vulnerabilities and protocol-specific risks across integrated pools and monitored dependencies.
Risk conditions can deteriorate while your funds remain in a vault, and a liquidity shortage can leave depositors waiting to withdraw. On Zyfai, when a risk check is triggered, the Yield Agent rebalances into a safer approved opportunity. It also tracks falling yields and expiring incentives, and moves capital when another option in your selection offers a better risk-adjusted return. If none qualifies, funds can remain idle in your Yield Account. Our risk monitoring rules explain the decision process.
Capital Splitting can divide a deposit among approved pools when doing so is expected to improve the result. Each pool's capacity and the deposit's effect on its APY shape the allocation. A small pool's displayed APY may change after capital enters it. Our splitting mechanism evaluates that post-deposit effect.
This account-level DeFi yield automation leaves the native curator's authority intact. The Agent does not become the allocator of every Morpho vault it uses, and selecting a vault does not let you rewrite that vault's collateral policy. We think of Zyfai as a curator of curators: you choose the Morpho vaults you trust, and the Agent compares their yields and risk signals to allocate within your risk profile and customization settings.
You choose which protocols and pools the Agent can use. If your selection includes protocols beyond Morpho, the Agent may move funds from Morpho when another allowed option offers better risk-adjusted yield within your rules. If you limit the selection to Morpho, the Agent must stay within that selection or leave the funds idle. You can update protocol and pool preferences from the dashboard.
Depositing directly into Morpho or through Zyfai
Using Morpho directly
You research the vaults, make the deposit and keep reviewing the position as conditions change.
Inspect each vault's strategy, underlying markets, collateral, dependencies and current allocations.
Compare the curator, governance roles, timelocks, exposure limits, fees and withdrawal liquidity.
Choose your vaults, decide how much to allocate to each and make the deposits.
Set alerts for changes in yield, incentives, collateral, liquidity and vault configuration.
Review those alerts and move funds yourself when another vault offers a better balance of yield and risk.
Using Zyfai for automated yield
Choose the available Morpho vaults you trust and customize your strategy to match your risk profile.
Deposit into your Yield Account and authorize the Agent to execute approved actions through scoped Session Keys.
The Yield Agent monitors your selected vaults around the clock. When yields fall or risks rise, it can rebalance to a better-yielding or safer approved pool within your settings.
Your Yield Account stays under your control
Zyfai is self-custodial. Your wallet is the owner of your personal Safe Smart Account, deployed for you when you deposit. Your capital stays in this account and the DeFi positions it holds. You retain ownership and withdrawal control. Zyfai cannot take custody of your funds or send them to an arbitrary address. You authorize the Agent through scoped Session Keys, which allow only the actions you have approved.
The Security Proxy Gateway checks approved contract addresses, functions and transaction parameters before an Agent action can execute. You can also enable automatic inclusion of newly approved pools in your settings. When we add a new Morpho pool that fits your strategy, the Agent can then consider it without you having to add it manually. Read how Session Keys work.
If risk monitoring flags an opportunity, your Agent is designed to reallocate away from it. When no suitable alternative exists, capital can remain unallocated.
When a direct vault deposit is the better fit
A direct deposit makes sense when you want one particular curator's strategy and are comfortable reviewing it yourself. You already benefit from native allocation, and you avoid an additional account-management fee. That choice comes with responsibility for deciding which contracts, curators and exposures you accept.
Zyfai is more useful when your objective is managing yield without constantly checking your allocations, their risks and APYs. The Agent handles that work and can move your capital to a higher-yielding or safer pool within your selection.
Compare layered fees and the actual exit route
Morpho vault fees depend on the implementation and configuration. V1 supports a performance fee. V2 supports performance fees and a management fee calculated on total deposited assets.
Zyfai adds a 10% performance fee on earnings, with no separate management, deposit or withdrawal fee listed. Agent transactions are gas-sponsored. Our internal measurements show that active rebalancing has delivered higher yields than static allocations even after our performance fee. The Agent also keeps checking risk conditions and can move capital away from a Morpho vault when those conditions deteriorate.
FAQ
Does Zyfai replace the Morpho curator?
No. The curator and allocator retain their native responsibilities. Zyfai manages your account's allocation among the approved Morpho vaults your strategy permits. Think of Zyfai as a curator of curators: your Agent compares the Morpho vaults you allow and rebalances toward better risk-adjusted yield within your rules.
Do Morpho vaults already accrue interest?
Yes. Zyfai adds 24/7 risk monitoring and active rebalancing across Morpho vaults to pursue the best risk-adjusted yield available within your selected Morpho vaults.
Can my Agent hold a different protocol later?
Yes, if your mandate allows it. Morpho is one of the protocols Zyfai supports, alongside Aave, Harvest, Compound, Euler, Fluid, IPOR Fusion, Spark, Superform and Yearn. Available pools depend on your asset, chain and strategy, and the Agent can use only the opportunities your settings allow.
Is using Zyfai guaranteed to produce higher net yield?
Our monthly reports recorded yield outperformance of 31.46% in June, 41.65% in July and 39.20% in August 2026. The three monthly figures average 37.44% relative outperformance against the static USDC pool benchmarks used in those reports, which include Morpho vaults and other protocols.
