Harvest vs Zyfai
Harvest runs its own yield vaults. You deposit into a vault Harvest created, and everyone in that vault shares the same account.
Harvest does not monitor each position and then execute a move out of it. The vault is the product: a global account that holds the strategy for every depositor in it.
Zyfai does the monitoring, and the execution follows it. Each user has their own smart account, not a share of one Harvest vault. The agent can leave a venue when the risk changes. A pooled vault cannot give you that account.
A fit for Zyfai when
- You want risk watched, and the position moved, on an account the user owns.
- Users should not share one global vault account.
A fit for Harvest when
- You want Harvest’s own vault, and a shared pot is the right shape.
- Compounding inside that vault is enough. You will not ask it to exit on risk.
