Upshift vs Zyfai
Upshift is onchain yield infrastructure for fintechs and asset managers. Partners embed vaults, from tokenized money markets to DeFi strategies, on one integration.
A curator runs the strategy inside limits set for that vault. Upshift prices the vault and checks the curator’s net asset value. The depositor holds a receipt token. You are offering a vault, with a manager and a published price.
The receipt token is only as current as the NAV someone reports, and only as honest as the oracle that prices it. A bad report or a bad price is how deposits and redemptions settle. That NAV risk is the vault. Zyfai can still give you the same kind of opportunity, including tokenized T-bills, but on segregated accounts: each user holds their own smart account, not one shared share. An agent allocates on that account and can leave a venue when the risk changes.
A fit for Zyfai when
- You want T-bill and curated yield on accounts that stay segregated.
- You do not want a reported NAV sitting between the user and the assets.
A fit for Upshift when
- You want curated vaults, including tokenized T-bills, inside your product.
- A receipt token and a priced vault are what your users should hold.
